Time to rock and roll…those coins!

Stack of coins on a table with clock in the background.

The 2020 year has served to be challenging in many ways. One of the most recent challenges is the national coin shortage that has developed. The entire country is experiencing a shortage of coins whether it’s a bank like us, retailers, restaurants, and more.

As business and bank closures began, the circulation of coins drastically slowed down. This has created a challenge for many, including banks, to keep coins on hand. As the Federal Reserve works on this problem, our local supply of coin is limited.

Partners Bank wants your help! Not only do we want to make sure we have the right change for you when you come and see us, we want to be able to assist our local business customers receive the coin they need to efficiently operate. We’re encouraging all of our customers to crack open those piggy banks, roll those coins, and bring them in.

Don’t have time to roll all your change? No problem! We’re here to help. Bring in your unrolled change to your local Partners Bank branch and we’ll do the counting and rolling for you. We’ll even deposit it into your account for you.* At this time we ask that you limit the amount of unrolled change you bring in to the equivalent of a half-gallon milk jug.

Partners Bank also has plenty of coin roll wrappers if you choose to roll them yourself. Just stop in and see us and we’ll be happy to loan you a supply! Together we can make a difference.

*Deposits will occur within two business days from the day coins are received.
