Partners Bank Gifts Waban $500 Through Employee Donation Program

SANFORD, Maine—Waban Projects, Inc. is the latest organization to receive $500 through Partners Bank’s Employee Donation Program. For the month of June, Grace Hutchins, Loan Servicing Associate of the Loan Servicing Department was chosen as the 51st recipient of the program, selecting Waban has her choice.
Waban has been in the Sanford area for more than 50 years, providing programs and services to those with autism, intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities to help them live fulfilling lives. Their work is guided by the principles of respect for the individual, normalization, integration, and self-empowerment in the least restrictive environment.
Grace has a close, personal experience with Waban saying, “Waban Children Center helped my son Ray when he was young, and Waban Works helped him find employment after high school. Waban is a great organization helping our community.”
Waban is currently one of the largest organizations of its kind, supporting now over 4,000 children and adults annually.
