SANFORD, Maine—As the cold winter months continue to bear down, staying warm is critical to staying safe and healthy. Partners Bank has come together for another year to collect donations to help with the heating costs of low-income families.
Funds gathered from the bank and its employees, as well as customers, brought the final total to $2,685, helping up to 11 families get the heating assistance they need in order to stay warm throughout the winter.
“Staying warm throughout the winter is a basic need we all share,” Bank President & CEO, Blaine Boudreau said. “These donations come at a critical time to make sure that the families that need it the most, get the assistance they need in order to stay safe while temperatures remain low. We cannot applaud the generosity of our customers and our employees enough for both their donations and for taking the time to think of people in need in our community.”
Partners Bank has also worked with the Salvation Army Fuel Assistance Fund to ensure families receive the funds that are needed. If you would like to assist in this program, you can contact the Sanford Salvation Army at (207) 324-3134.
