Partners Bank Employee Donation Program Gifts $500 to Limerick/Newfield Lions Club

NEWFIELD, Maine—The Limerick/Newfield Lions Club is the latest recipient of the Partners Bank Employee Donation Program, receiving a $500 donation for the month of March.
Bank Market Manager for the Waterboro, Limerick and Buxton branches, Faith Smith has been selected as the 60th employee to choose a charity of her choice to receive the monthly donation, marking a full five years that the Employee Donation Program has been assisting non-profits in need.
Smith has served as a member of the Lions Club for more than nine years, including time spent as the club’s secretary/treasurer and as a board member.
“This money will go to my local club and will be put back into the community for various donations like heat assistance, the food pantry, and the school backpack program,” Smith said. “On behalf of my Lions Club we thank you!”
Lions Club International began in 1917 in Illinois and now has clubs all across the country. Standing by its motto of “We Serve”, the Limerick/Newfield club has focused on a multitude of programs including, sight conservation, hearing and speech conservation, diabetes awareness, youth outreach, international relations, environmental issues, and much more.
