Nadeau chooses Boy Scout Memorial Scholarship as Partners Bank Employee Donation for June.

Partners Bank 68th recipient Linda Nadeau stands with a check for $1,000 to The Dennis Nadeau Boy Scout Memorial Scholarship, Troop #356, after being selected for the bank’s Employee Donation Program in June.

Sanford, Maine—Partners Bank has announced that Linda Nadeau is this month’s recipient of the Employee Donation Program. Linda is the Executive Administrative Assistant located at the Main Office in Sanford.

“I have chosen The Dennis Nadeau Boy Scout Memorial Scholarship, Troop #356, as my recipient. The scholarship was founded in my husband’s memory. Boy Scout Troop #356 has been home to scouts in the towns of Wells and Ogunquit for 37 years, and during that time, 40+ scouts have joined the rank of Eagle. The troop has served the community by annually participating in town clean-up, assisting in building walking trails, and more,” says Nadeau. “Thank you to Partners Bank for this donation opportunity. Needless to say, this scholarship is very dear to my heart!”

Dennis served as an assistant scoutmaster for many years. During that time Dennis spent a week with the troop each summer at Camp Hinds in Raymond, drove a van full of scouts to Gettysburg and Washington DC for an adventure/fun-filled week of sightseeing and camping, hiked many a mountain in the summer heat, and snowshoed into the woods on winter camporees. He served as the State of Maine’s scout leader at the 2002 National Jamboree at Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia.

“Troop #356 has been a big part of the community in Wells and Ogunquit over the last four decades. It is awe-inspiring to see that more than 40 scouts have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout directly through this organization,” said Bank President and CEO Blaine Boudreau. “We thank Linda for choosing Troop #356. And of course, when the donor is very passionate about the recipient, it is a good feeling too.”
