Sanford, ME—Partners Bank has announced that Amanda Fitzgerald is the August winner of the Employee Donation Program. Amanda is the Branch Operation and Technology Manager at the Bank and is located at the main office in Sanford, Maine. Amanda has chosen Safe Haven Humane Society as the recipient to receive the $1,000 donation.

Amanda, as well as several other Partner’s Bank employees, have adopted kitties from Safe Haven over the years, and this rescue is very near and dear to their hearts! Gigi (see photo below) was rescued by Safe Haven from a hoarding situation and now has her forever home with Amanda.

“Adopting Gigi from the shelter was a wonderful experience,” said Amanda Fitzgerald. “I am so happy to be able to pay it forward and make this donation to an organization that does an exceptional job finding homes for these felines.”

Safe Haven Humane Society is a no-kill cat shelter and adoption center in Wells, Maine, located at Cattail Farm, 1784 Post Road (Route One). The building has been completely restored with five cat rooms which are sunlit, spacious, colorful, and happy. They tell people that it feels like the cats designed the space themselves because it is so perfect for their needs.
