Kingston, NH – Partners Bank is proud to announce a $100,000 donation to the Kingston Community Library in support of its visionary Outdoor Community Center project. This significant contribution will help transform the library’s outdoor grounds into a vibrant, inclusive space designed to enrich the lives of Kingston residents of all ages.
As part of the development, the library will construct a multi-use pavilion – soon to be named the Partners Bank Pavilion – that will serve as a cornerstone for a wide variety of outdoor programs. From children’s story time and music series to wellness classes and senior gatherings, the Pavilion will provide a comfortable and welcoming setting for year-round activities.
“We believe in investing in the communities we serve, and this project embodies the values of learning, connection, and well-being that we stand for,” said Anthony Cataldi, President at Partners Bank. “The Kingston Community Library is creating something truly special – a space where generations can come together, grow, and thrive.”
The Outdoor Community Center aims to reimagine the traditional library model by integrating nature, wellness, and social engagement. Planned features include:
- A pavilion for events and programs
- A playground for children and families
- Wellness and fitness areas
- ADA-accessible walking trails and a sensory garden
- A meditation space
- Areas for intergenerational connection
“Our town currently lacks a dedicated senior center, and the library has stepped in to fill that gap,” said Melissa Mannon, Library Director at Kingston Community Library. “Thanks to Partners Bank’s incredible generosity, we’ll be able to expand our programming for older adults, offer more opportunities for community gathering, and create a space that fosters well-being and belonging.”
The Partners Bank Pavilion will support the library’s popular senior programs – such as card games, crafting, and puzzle club – and provide opportunities for intergenerational events that build empathy and reduce social isolation among older adults.
Most importantly, the Pavilion will also provide space for the Library’s children’s programs: Imagination Festival, 4-H, and more.
The Imagination Festival is designed to inspire each child to explore their imagination. The Partners Bank Pavilion will allow a better space for magicians, petting zoos, fairy gardens, and face painting activities during the Imagination Festival.
4-H is a youth development program that focuses on building skills in youth through hands-on learning experiences. The name represents the four key areas of development: head, heart, hands, and health. Kingston Community Library and 4-H share common goals of helping children identify and nurture their passions, create a sense of belonging, socialize, build life skills, and find happiness. 4-H activities, such as cooking and nature lessons, will take place at the Partners Bank Pavilion.
Other programs – such as Story Times with Jack, 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, Tween Tuesday, and Music and Movement for Toddlers – will also utilize the Partners Bank Pavilion.
This $100,000 donation reflects Partners Bank’s ongoing commitment to strengthening local communities through education, engagement, and philanthropy.
The Kingston Community Outdoor Center is projected to cost $1.4 million. The Library is hoping to raise all or most of the funding through charitable gifts from individuals, families, and businesses. Generous donors should reach out to Melissa Mannon at [email protected] for any questions.
