Sanford, Maine—Partner’s Bank celebrated their passion for people by asking the people to vote for their passions, culminating in a total of $7,500 donated to 12 charities. As part of Partners Bank’s Customer Appreciation Week that took place from August 8-12, 2022, Partners Bank asked customers at all 11 bank branches to vote for their favorite of 12 local charities to receive a top tier donation. Earning the most votes, Animal Welfare Society has been gifted a $1,500 donation, followed by Center for Wildlife, whom has been gifted a $1,000 donation. The remaining charities—End 68 Hours of Hunger, Gather – Seacoast, Good Shepard Food Bank, Great Works Land Trust, Massabesic Backpack Program, New Hampshire Food Bank, New Hampshire SPCA, Sanford Backpack Program, SELT (Southeast Land Trust of New Hampshire), and Three Rivers Land Trust—all whom had strong community support, have each been gifted $500 donations.

“We at Partners are dedicated to giving back to our community and we greatly value our customers, who are so important to our success. We were excited to be able to show our appreciation for our customers while also supporting our community through this ‘Pick your Passion’ voting process,” Blaine Boudreau, Partners Bank President and CEO, shares. “As a bonus, it’s aways nice to learn of the causes and organizations that are closest to our customers’ hearts.”

Representatives of Partners Bank visited the top two voted organizations, Animal Welfare Society and Center for Wildlife, to present their checks to them, and, while there, witnessed firsthand the important work being done with such care in each organization. Animal Welfare Society shared that they have recently seen an increase of animals in need of care while Center for Wildlife is working to expand their facilities to provide more space and accessibility for both rescued wildlife and human visitors. Donations from Customer Appreciation Week “Pick Your Passion” voting will help them to continue to provide excellent care to animals in need.

We thank our customers for their thoughtful votes and we thank all 12 organizations for the work they do for our communities.
