A note from the manager…
May 2024
Our world in the Golden Rewards Program has been busy. On the first week of May, we stayed at a seaside hotel at The Outer Banks in North Carolina. The folks on the trip were very lovely, and we got to bond over great conversations. We posted photos of the trip on our Facebook page. Check out those smiling faces!
I’ve been working hard to add new unique trips for you all. Since April, we’ve added four new trips to the itinerary: North Conway & Lafayette Train, “Happy 2 Gather” ‘60s Show, New York City Holiday Getaway, and The Ark Encounter & Creation Museum. Click on each title to view more information about the trip. Like I said, it’s been busy!
On May 20th, we’re jetting off on a 4-day trip to Finger Lakes, New York. We will lunch at a castle, check out a mansion and museums, go on a winery tour & tasting, and cruise on a lake. You can bet we’ll share photos from that trip on our Facebook page as well.

2024 – Upcoming Trips
- July 14 – 19 – Montreal & Quebec City & Canada’s Capital City, Ottawa – Travel with us to three cities in Canada full of history and excitement. - August 9 – An American in Paris Musical – We are heading to Reagle Music Theatre in Waltham, MA, to be captivated by the musical An American in Paris. Inspired by the classic Gene Kelly film, this romantic story is centered around a young American soldier and a beautiful French girl in Paris. We’ll follow the journey of these two young artists as they explore the joys and hardships of creating art and falling in love.
- August 13 – 22– Irish Gold Tour – Join us for this Ireland tour which explores the most acclaimed sights in the south and west of Ireland, including the mountainous beauty of Connemara. This tour will take in Dublin, Galway, the Cliffs of Moher, Killarney, Waterford, and more.
- September 3 – North Conway & Lafayette Train – Retail therapy and dinner on a vintage rail car – tell us that doesn’t sound super relaxing! Together, we’ll go shopping at Settlers Green Tanger Outlet in North Conway, and then we’ll make our way to Woodstock for a unique dining experience aboard the Cafe Lafayette Dinner Train. We’ll pass through some beautiful autumn scenery as we share a wonderful meal together.
- September 19 – “Happy 2 Gather” ‘60s Show – Take a trip back to the decade of peace, love, and music at the “Happy 2 Gather” Show. Be entertained by Jozay and Patti, one of the cruise industry’s most requested acts, as they perform hits from artists like Simon & Garfunkel, Janis Joplin, The Doors, The Turtles, and The Zombies. A plated luncheon is included.

- October 21 – 25 – Riding the Rails in West Virginia – Spend five days and four nights exploring the wild and beautiful West Virginia. You’ll visit Blackwater Falls State Park, climb aboard the Cass Scenic Railroad, and be dazzled by the historical stones of the Smoke Hole Caverns. During the trip, you’ll also gaze at unique views of the Appalachians while in the comfort of a train.
- October 29 – Turkey Train – Spend the day with us on the Turkey Train, where we’ll enjoy a complete turkey dinner catered by Hart’s Turkey Farm with all the traditional fixings. This roundtrip lunch train will give you a glimpse of New Hampshire’s largest lake, Lake Winnipesaukee, and beautiful lakeside homes.
- November 3 – 9 – Pigeon Forge and Smoky Mountains Show Trip – Tell your 9 to 5 that you’re taking time off to visit the Great Smoky Mountains and Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee! You’ll also receive VIP treatment at Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud, be captivated by the new variety show Array, be entertained by Country Tonite, and more. Transportation, lodging, six breakfasts, and four dinners included.
- December 5 – A Smoky Mountain Christmas – The country’s Number 1 Tribute show of two of the biggest names in Country Music this Century. “A Smoky Mountain Christmas”, starring Wendy T and Dave Karl recreates the magic of Country Music’s Favorite Couple -Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. This incredible show recreates their incredible – Once Upon A Christmas Album -which was certified Platinum Twice and their subsequent CBS special in 1984 titled Kenny & Dolly: A Christmas to Remember.
- December 8 – 11 – New York City Holiday Getaway – The holidays wouldn’t be complete without a trip to New York City. Close out the year with sights of Midtown, the 911 Memorial and Museum, Radio City Music Hall’s Christmas Spectacular, and the Broadway show The Notebook. This trip is the best way to get into the holiday spirit!
2025 – In the works …
- April 6 – 12 – The Ark Encounter & Creation Museum – Join us on this weeklong vacation in Ohio to check out a life-sized Noah’s Ark Experience, a Bible history and creation science exhibit, the Cincinnati Museum Center, and a sightseeing cruise on the Ohio river. Motorcoach transportation, 6 nights lodging, and 10 meals included.
