For one month, starting November 13, 2023, employees of Partners Bank banded together to make a huge donation to the United Way of Southern Maine. The campaign kicked off at the main office in Sanford with an insightful presentation from the folks at United Way. Some key highlights of the presentation were food and housing insecurity, mental health, and the importance of education and literacy. Partners Bank employees were encouraged to donate to United Way of Southern Maine for one month. The Partners Bank employees were definitely in the spirit of giving because at the end of the one-month campaign, they generously pooled together $20,241 for United Way’s great cause.

United Way of Southern Maine has been an impactful organization in the area since 1926. By connecting donors and volunteers, working alongside community partners, and getting companies involved, United Way of Southern Maine’s mission is to be community centered. Their mission is to bring together the people, ideas, and resources to tackle the root causes of issues like food insecurity, housing instability, literacy gaps, and access to healthcare.
