The Sanford Mainers are heading to the Championship after beating the Vermont Mountaineers 7-4 at Goodall Park

For the first time since 2016, the Sanford Mainers are Championship bound and one step closer to clinching the Fay Vincent Sr. Cup!
On Monday, August 5th, they beat out the Vermont Mountaineers in an electrifying game at Goodall Park in Sanford, ME. Displaying a lot of great plays from Caleb Shpur, Devan Bade, Colin Barczi, Evin Sullivan, Zachary Brassill, and Jackson Walsh, the Sanford Mainers walked away with a 7-4 win.
On Wednesday, August 7th, they kick off Game 1 of the series against the Newport Gulls at Cardines Field in Newport, RI. Streaming is available on ESPN+ at 6:30 p.m. A watch party in Sanford is in the works, so stay tuned for more information.
