Veterans Donations

If you’ve stopped by our Main Office in Sanford in the last month, you’ve likely noticed a table in our lobby decked out patriotically with increasingly more household items being piled on and around it. This has been the result of a partnership with our local American Legion to collect items for unhoused veterans. This group of veterans are currently residing in a community home in Saco, but with the help of community resources, they are all working towards getting housing on their own. Most of these vets have very few to no belongings and these donated items will make a significant difference in setting them up for success as they get back on their feet and settle into their own homes.

Partners Bank was proud to donate $500 of goods and we have been heartened by our community’s response in contributing additional items. If you would like to donate any basic home items—items we often take for granted, such as linens, toiletries, pots, pans, cleaning supplies, etc.— we are still gratefully accepting donations at our Sanford, South Sanford, and Springvale branches as well as at the Transition Home for Veterans in Saco, Maine, and at the Cornish United Church of Christ in Cornish, Maine.

We thank all that have donated to this cause and, most of all, our veterans for their service.
